Now that the winter weather has finally disappeared, now is the perfect time to invest some time and money in spring vehicle maintenance. The cold temperatures can be brutal on your vehicle when you take into consideration road salt, ice, snow and much more. Genesis of Amherst has compiled a list of some spring car care tips to help you protect your vehicle.

  • Washing your vehicle will prevent rust damage that can occur when road salt accumulates over the course of the winter. Waxing your vehicle can add an extra layer of protection to your body panels.
  • An oil change will remove any harmful particulates from your engine that have accumulated over time. A new oil filter will also be beneficial.
  • You should have your winter tires swapped out for an all-season variety. If you're already using the same set all year, have your tires rotated to promote even tread wear.
